DevCAFE: Development Collaborative Assessment and Feedback Engine
The design and assessment of development initiatives is increasingly participatory, where decision makers consider feedback from affected populations. We are exploring digital tools to facilitate participatory and collaborative assessment.

In the first stage, participants respond to a series of demographic questions. Then, they provide quantitative responses on key issues with a scale from 0 to 10 (“Strongly Disagree” to “Strongly Agree”). Finally, they enter an open-ended discussion (in this version visualized as a metaphorical coffee table), where they can click on a mug and read and evaluate other participants’ responses.
